Adelaide to Sydney - Tailem Bend
Arriving in Adelaide on the 1st Jan 2011 was perhaps a mistake, being on the smaller side of a city, there was very little open! After a brief drive around, the journey began and with a supply stop at Mt Baker where Kmart stocked some very reasonably price tents - $12 for a 2 man, we headed towards our destination - Tailem Bend. A small town, built on a river - which had burst its banks, and a old train line - with an old train, Tailem Bend is conveniently located for the road trippers and had a few motels and campsites and not much else.
